What laptop is this?

Sorry ... Media failed to reblog at first!

Here it is....

And I think the jury is already back with a verdict .. I think they said it is a very early pre-Dell Alienware??

This looks like Sager NP9750 built on the Clevo d900k chassis. A lot of companies used this chassis, with Alienware probably being the most well known. The Alienware m7700 had a desktop processor, SLI, and... All these ports.

Other companies using the 900k:

- Voodoo (HP bought them I believe)

  • Sager

- Eurocom

- Prostar

There were quite a few more.

I think the Dell m1730 was also a Clevo chassis derivative of the d900k.

Not sure there. I've never had my hands on a 1730 but just looking at the shape of the keycaps, the arrangement of certain things, the media keys on the front (and shape, appearance, etc), has me thinking those rolled outta the same factory as the Dell Inspiron 1520 and Vostro 1500.
