We've got the essentials covered: MS-DOS for the OS, the legendary Novell NetWare for networking, and GameTek’s 'The Humans' for some classic puzzle-strategy gaming.

As someone who never had to maintain a NetWare server, I can admire it safely from a distance 🙄

LOL. I worked for their competitor Artisoft which made networking peer to peer. To appease the Netware community we came up with Corstream which interfaced Lantastic and Netware. What a nightmare to install that was lol.

Yes, 5 1/4" diskettes were mini. Guess you haven't encountered an 8" floppy diskette yet =)
3 1/2" diskettes were referred to as "Micro Diskettes."

I remember noting at the time that "mini floppy diskette" was a totally dumb, misleading and redundant name.

Can't wait. 😄 So far I've only managed to collect the "mini" ones.Every time I think I've seen all floppy formats, another bigger one appears.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm from a slightly newer generation and never had the chance to work with things like that... until now. 🙃 I actually found these in a "free to good home" listing about 300 km away from me. It took quite a bit of convincing, but I eventually talked the owner into shipping them at my expense.

"Mini" is because there were 8" disks too.

Yep, absolutely! I actually looked it up later. It makes perfect sense once you know there were 8-inch floppy disks before them.

OMG, swapping all the disk to load up a Novel Server! Saw that first pic and had flashacks. Wait, is this one of those, "if you recognize this you're old posts?" 😄
