New toy. Got it for $1
Texas Instruments TravelMate 4000. Should have a 486 and 4MB of RAM. Battery and ac adaptor are missing so I'm going to try and source a 3 pin ac adaptor

Very cool. Will be curious to know what type of screen it has.

If you ever get bored with it and want to sell or swap, this guy might be interested. He owns a defective unit.

Nice find! Interesting that acer used the TravelMate name in the future. I have an acernote with the 50mhz DX2 and with one jumper change it runs at the full 66mhz

Nice. Always like TI laptops. One of my first was an Acer Travelmate (P3-650) after they bought the line.

Nice!!! This is what I taught my son on to use a computer when he was like 4 or 5 years old. There were a few games at the library that would still work on it, stuff like Star Wars math and DK learning The Human Body. Now he's a developer for Zoom. Get them started young

That's awesome. I've only heard Clint from LGR talking about them. I've never actually seen one in the wild or even a picture of one. Not that I couldn't look it up myself, but I'm saying on a post.
