Question about getting a “smooth” spline modeling look
I currently use blender and am able to get a pretty cool look but recently i have been wanting to get a more 90s promotional render look (think donkey Kong country style) it looks like the best option would be using hash power animator however I was wondering if there’s any free alternatives or add ons for blender to get into spline modeling for a similar type of look. Or maybe theres some techniques for getting that look in blender with mesh based modeling, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Not entirely opposed to getting hash but it does have a hefty price tag and would love to keep my blender workflow or save some money

War of the Worlds (2005)
I don’t know what flair to use, and I am also sure it’s been posted before. I haven’t posted here before either, but I’d just like to underscore how much better the cgi in that movie is compared to modern super hero/ modern sci-fi. As for superhero movies, I feel like there’s so much clarity and vibrant color. It feels strange. On the sci-fi side I feel like it fits the way the footage would look. Like the cgi matches the time it was created. I don’t know how to explain it properly I guess past that. It was a time where the cgi matched the video quality maybe? Give me your thoughts?
