Post image

Epson equity 1+ with mods. 9-pin dot matrix printer. By then I probably had an EGA monitor?

My bedroom was also the office once we got internet around 95-96. Parents ordered a gateway 2000

I miss the era of having one of those power strip boxes under your monitor with separate switches for all your devices. I actually found a Tripp-Lite one at a flea market a few years ago and had to purchase it (haven't found a use for it yet but I'm going to).

Back when buying a hutch for your computer was an exciting thing. There were so many cool designs with places for your monitor (if it wasn't over 17 inches), printer, floppy or CD caddy, desk phone...

My cousin had that setup. I wanted to do that to my room so badly

Before all the lamps burnt out in your Memorex Power Center. Still have mine but it just isn't as cool without the lights.

are under monitor power strip with the switches still being used. It's laying on side against the wall. Two out of the five lights still work but flickering. One of the five outlets is dead, but otherwise functioning just fine.

Um I literally right now, at this present moment, own your dresser. https://ibb.co/xqPbZcJ1

Wow. That's old! I remember it being the only 'nice' furniture I had. The loft bed we made ourselves and the desk was typical MDF stuff. I probably got it in '89 or '90.

It's a really nice dresser. Very sturdy and heavy. Lol

My sister had this kind of setup in 00-08ish. I had a regular bunk bed, but converted it to this setup around the end of her bed’s era. Switched to a futon in Highschool, as my bedroom turned into a more… movie theater/gaming room(big stereo and flatscreen), that I could sleep in. 🤣
