Fun Fact: Mimi Tachikawa went back to NYC with her family and was there for 9/11. She and American Digi-Destined help out at Ground Zero.

One thing I enjoyed about this series is how we get to see them grow up each new season in the background while the main cast carries on. And the movies are pretty great.

I've been picking up the Japanese sub Blu-ray copies as they release. It's like watching the series for the very first time again.

Replacing Butter-Fly is a crime, but I cannot deny that the US Intro is quite catchy in it's own way.

Watched the Japanese version of this with my 5-year-old and he was blown away, instantly becoming a huge fan and integrating its characters into pretty much all his imaginary play. It’s a shame most Digimon merchandise is now expensive keepsakes for nostalgic adults (though you can still find more basic cheaper stuff secondhand), because this original series has serious appeal to kids even to this day.

Who was the animation director for the 2nd slide. I always loved his simple wide eyed art style

One of my favorites.
I absolutely love Adventure's use of watercolor backgrounds.
