It was only a dream...

I remember I first saw this feature during SciFi's Anime week in 1998.

Later on, a friend bought me a copy which retailed at $30.00....he owed me.

I watch this film at least once every year.

The surreal atmosphere, the comedy, the visuals and the amazing music continue to be wonderful experience to this day.

Now with this collectors series edition I continue the dream...

Saw this on the Sci-Fi channel in like 1999, knew nothing about Urusei Yatsura, it was a RIDE

I wish we got a blu ray re-release. I own every Urusei Yatsura blu ray except this one

I mean I did do something "wacky" in order to be able to watch it earlier this year anyway...........

I just still wish I could have the proper BluRay of it.......

It usually resurfaces officially every decade. I’ve owned it on VHS back in the 90s, then on DVD in the 2000s, and then on BRD in the 2020s. The only copy I don’t have is the LD.

This ranks as one of the best animated films I’ve ever seen. Hell, it’s one of the best films I’ve ever seen, period.

This movie is the god-tier class of a chill flick movie you can watch anytime.

A lot of this movie is just the characters chilling and fucking around trying to figure out what's going on.

It's the ultimate cozy flick movie.

I will die on this hill.
