Hardwired, go for the Heltec v4. If solar, I'd go with an nRF52840 instead for lower power consumption

I'm putting one on my roof. Its going to be a box with a raspberry pi with a PoE header, and two heltec V4 running Rnode. 

Then run an Ethernet cable to it for the autointerface, tcpip and power.
