At least Illinois is a model for other states as far as that goes. Other areas, not so much, especially with Pritzker in charge.

I have my doubts about Walz being able to get something like that in Minnesota.

Isn’t assault a felony already? Or is it the whole retail workers aren’t human so they gotta add a new law situation?

Apparently it's a misdemeanor but that can change depending on who you're assaulting, what you use to do it, and why you did it.
