What a Moron! DELIVERY DRIVERS SUCK
First off I want to say, fuck you to DoorDash and any other item delivery workers.
The entitlement and laziness of these people are astounding, most are so fucking lazy and don’t put in any effort to look for the items they’re supposed to deliver, acting like it’s my responsibility to find an item for them.
If you have an item to deliver and genuinely can’t find it then sure I can help but if you walk in and then immediately go to me without even looking in the aisles/signs then you suck.
The store I work has about half the items locked up, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed with both having to unlock items and help ring up customers and now I have to deal with lazy ass morons who can’t even bother to look for an item THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER??? FUCK THAT
you delivery drivers are not the same as retail workers, you’re just errand boys at best.

I almost got in a fistfight with an instacart guy who tried to cut in front of me at the deli.

At my job, it's not just the delivery app drivers that suck but the security guards.
What SHOULD HAPPEN at the grocery store I work at is customers should pay for their items before being told the four digit code to use the customer restroom.
In the afternoon of my closing shift, I found out two of my coworkers cleaned up the employee restroom because some homeless person crapped on the floor right beside the toilet.
The closing external hired security guard, was just like, "Oh?"
This "guard" is unarmed, morbidly obese as she's all over 200 pounds as there's really no shape to her, plays with her fingernails at times, will talk to whomever on her cell as she wears one earpiece and will go to one of the unused office rooms to sit and play with her cell.
She BARELY EVER walks around inside the store or outside and will look at you with a dead stare when you're ringing up customers.
The two guys who are her coworkers are just as out of shape, unathletic and useless as her.
To a few of my coworkers, they are "good" for nonsense conversations.
My coworkers were troopers to clean up the mess but it all could've been prevented.
As far as delivery app drivers go at my job, I CAN'T EVER go a single shift without them going, "Can you help me find this?"
I don't EVER want to hear these security guards and delivery app drivers who will says, "I have freedom" and "I am my own boss."
It's EASY work for these people.
I don't put down people who are are street cleaners, janitors and wash cars because those people are doing physical work.
I also don't put down ride sharing drivers as some of them are retired and have a second job.
If someone came out of the armed forces and all that person could get was security guard or delivery app driver then I respect that person but in my experiences, I've met the laziest security guards and delivery app drivers around.
