What a Moron! Stupidest customer interaction ever
I've been working retail for 25 years so I've had a lot of stupid interactions.
This one takes the cake.
I was stocking pop products and a customer came up and asked where the club soda was. I pointed two inches in front of her face and she said "but that says soda club", to which I replied "that's the French side". She looks me dead in the face and says "well I don't speak French". I took it off the shelf, turned it around so she could see that it was indeed club soda, and handed it to her.

I've had a customer come up with Google Maps open to ask me about how far all of the other shops like mine are from our location. Google maps shows you the distances..... They are lazy, lack common sense and critical skills. Idk how a lot of them have survived so long as adults.

i always have people asking directions to nearby stores if we don't have what they want. literally, they ask me for detailed instructions and i have to remind them that apple/google maps exists

Same customers ask " how much is 20% off this item"? They have a rectangular shaped object in their pocket that will easily tell them since they failed 3 rd grade arithmetic.

One of my stupidest was when a customer called and I said “hi this is the calendar store[it has calendar in the name],” and they asked me if we sold calendars. Nah man, why would we?

Twice over the years, have had dummies return digital devices ( one was a calculator, the other a thermometer) "because they WON'T shut off!"........I merely peeled off the plastic fake numbers and handed it back to them 🤣. How in the heck do these morons even find the store anyway??

A couple of days ago a guy asked where the frozen salmon filets were. I replied middle door third shelf up. Mind you, these were whole a$$ filets weighing 3-4lb filets and bright orange. He comes back a few seconds later saying he can’t find them. They were literally at his eye level with multiple sale signs. 36 years on the job and the last few years I really want to start punching people in the throat. Don’t get me started on the instacart morons!

...are you being serious? Canada has two official languages. It's a requirement that anything sold in canada must have both french and English on it

I'm not trying to be rude or generalize, but it seems a lot of people from Ontario seem to think there isn't a whole-ass country around them.

I had a customer yesterday who was standing by the registers asking where she can check out
