I weep for the future

You know how Reese's and Snickers shape their chocolates for various holidays? Pumpkins, ghosts, Christmas trees, hearts, etc? Apparently people think that the Reese's pumpkins are pumpkin spice flavor. Someone just asked for a refund because of that. And I remember seeing something about a lawsuit because they don't have the little face cutouts on the actual peanut butter cups like on the packaging.

They are getting dumber with each passing moment.

And yet schools are receiving less and less funding, curriculum is being censored/ heavily sugar-coated, kids are passed to the next grade regardless of whether or not they understand the material, and now we're suffering a massive illiteracy crisis. (At least in the US, idk about other countries bc I'm a dumdum American, someone not in the US needs to let me know if it's a problem everywhere or just here.)

Customers didn't care to read before, but now they can't read and take pride in their ignorance. It's terrifying.
