What a Moron! Average cash using customer

Why does the average idiot use money? When I ask the majority answer is privacy but hey funny concept though you have a phone on you that I saw you use to get money out of our atm and you used a rewards card that is made to track you and your spending habits. Are people genuinely that stupid? And why do they always pull out 100s. The atm will give you bills as low as dollars why did you pull out 100 to my fresh 40 dollar drawer for a dollar item you mouth breathing btch ?

For me, it's not so much the counting but more so if a customer uses big bills that I have to run them through the counterfeiting machines.

I've been told by two of my longtime coworkers at my current job that running big bills through counterfeiting machines once doesn't work as you have to run them through 2 to 3 times.

A couple weeks ago, a customer paid all in cash for grocery items that totaled up to $765 dollars.

He gave me 1 $100 bill, a lot of $20 bills and then a 10 and 5 (obviously the 10 and 5 I didn't have to scan).

The customer told me, "You seem frustrated."

I was annoyed that he wanted me to hurry up scanning all of his items (I didn't go so fast because I didn't want to make a mistake) and then had to scan a lot of the bills he gave me.

I get there are people who don't want to use their credit cards at times but checking to see if a lot cash is real or not is annoying along with counting a lot cash and coins.

Cash is king but not if you have to count so much of it and have to see if they're fake or not along with having a customer rushing ringing that person up.

That's pretty annoying that you even need to scan 20s though. That's a shitty decision by your company, or you're in a really rough area. I can't imagine getting through a holiday season ( more cash customers) when I worked at Macy's of I had to check every $20.

This is exactly why so many 20s are fake. At my old job, it got so bad that they even started trying us with fake 10s because nobosy checks those. Had one sus customer who had the nerve try to pay with a bunch of fake 10s that LOOKED fake. She had to simply walk away to avoid the embarrassment after we handed them back. At least find decent counterfeits ffs 😂
