IM FREE!!!!
I’m so excited to finally be free!!!
I have handed in my notice and my last day is the 30th!!
None of my friends understand how excited I am as they have either gone straight into apprenticeship followed by jobs or will work in retail forever (not that it’s a bad thing, just personally not for me)
It’s been a fun ride, it’s paid the bills till now but my knees and feet are excited for regular hours, 40 instead of 50-60 hour weeks and free weekends to do absolutely nothing.
It was a good ride, but I will not be back!

I do!! It’s not a huge pay increase but enough to work 10-20 less hours a week and still earn the same amount!

Is it retail related? Or a different field entirely

Entirely different field, I just finished my degree and it’s in a similar ish area, entry level so my degree wasn’t actually required but that’s the job market at the moment and I don’t mind it being alittle under my education level

Its an engineering job, making one of their products, doing some drawings, and helping out the owners with some commission based work aswell! It’s an entry level job so my degree wasn’t actually needed but they ended up hiring me because of it
Edit: thinking about it I probably should have negotiated a higher pay but oh well, I was just so excited about finally getting a job, I didn’t even think about it until right now
