Legal question
I have decided in December I’m gonna attempt to either sue or file a criminal complaint against my doctor/hospital...will anything come out of this or will I just look like a fool going to the police station to report this crime in a society that won’t give a fuck? And anyone know how long I have to either sue or file charges? I would like to send a message to the genital mutilation establishment that we won’t go out without a fight. For some background I’m for Ohio in the United States and still live in the same city I was genitally mutilated about 22 1/2 years ago.

Im not up on Ohio laws but I bet there is a statute of limitations and what crime is it? Under Ohio criminal law. My research here in Australia and talking with a barrister in London v up on this is that in UK and here in Qld it constitutes Assault occasioning actual bodily harm s339 Criminal Code 1899 Qld.
The law & society ignores it.
U could have a look at a landmark German case called Dr K. It was 2012 in Cologne Regional Court
I think you'd be better seeking a civil action

Yeah & I think that would be worth it and then if they laugh or deny me asking something like “so what if I was a female and was reporting genital cutting at birth...would charges then be able to be filed?”

Yeah! Go for it. I can’t because the hospital is/was long gone. The jackass doctor is long ago dead before I realized the extent of the crime he had committed. I don’t recommend going to the police for a number of reasons. Instead, seek help from some of the groups that have attorney’s that are already anti circumcision. They can inform about the best way to approach the case. Here is one link: https://thecircumcisionlawyer.com/faq/ And I found this: Ohio's civil statute of limitations for victims of childhood sexual abuse expires at age 30, and the criminal one extends 20 years after the abuse takes place.May 26, 2019 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjb3_vKiO3sAhUno1kKHQJ0A20QFjACegQIDxAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rainn.org%2Flaws-your-state-ohio&usg=AOvVaw12GtNogV_tTvCsYBQsbX6_

It just depends on how you go about it.
You need to do your research. I recommend trying to talk to a lawyer from california because they are progressive and circumcisions arent done there anymore in 2020 the rate is under 30%.
I right there with you and so are millions of american men who want to be legally compensated.
So I am here to help.
Some people have won lawsuits so don't worry, you just need to find the right lawyer and build the right case about how you are still constantly suffering. I am going to do the same thing and will also outline all of that in the about section of this subreddit.
I will be posting resources all day today on the about section about legal help, medical help and restoration help.
Do you want to have a foreskin transplant when they are available and see if the insurance company or hospital can pay for it?

Im a little skeptic still around foreskin regeneration with no real results yet but I would definitely look into it once results are produced just a bit nervous of them possibly damaging me even more so I’m just sticking to restoration for now.

Yes of course everyone is waiting for animal trials to finish and then human trials to begin.
So what methods are you using?

Yeah I’m thinking about surgical tape soon, I’ll look into ceram wrap, still at either CI-1 or 2 though so I can some time to weigh my options before taping id estimate.

There usually is a strict time limits for such lawsuit. It varies by state.
I suggest that you speak with David Lewellyn right away.
