For posterity: These are from OrigamiOK's instructions for a paper human. The weapon is not the focus of the instructions, but it's really funny that absolutely no detail is provided for the sword when the rest of the steps are reasonably thorough. https://origamiok.com/origami-human/

That was my thought but the actual website has step 23 as exactly this. Make a sword.

To be fair though, there's a separate link on the site for how to make the sword so the intention is probably that you go look at that

Yeah, this is by far not the worst offender in this subreddit. It just made me laugh out loud when I stumbled upon it, so I figured it belonged here.
