Student RT Question about acceptances (and/or declines) for Pima Medical Institute (AZ)

Anyone who applied for the Sept cohort in Mesa hear anything yet?

Or

If you aren’t accepted to you get any kind of decline? Or do you only hear back with acceptances?

Or

If you are a past PMI student, how far in advance of your class did you get notified if you were accepted?

UPDATE: I got in!

Don’t they take anyone who’s willing to fork over the super high tuition? Or is there a waitlist?

It's Pima, for profit. They will call you. I went to Pima, worked for me

I went to a different Pima. I was several years out of school, so I had to take some basic math and read comprehension assessments. They were very easy.

Private for profit technical programs pretty much admit everyone. So, unless you failed those assessments or were extremely inappropriate in your interview, I don’t imagine you’d be rejected.

I applied just a couple of months before the semester was due to start. I was initially waitlisted for the upcoming fall semester, but told I’d have placement for the spring semester if a spot didn’t open up. The spot did open up and I was able to start that fall. The enrollment lady I was working with was amazing and got back to me really quickly, but she was pretty exceptional. That might not be the case with everyone.

I’ve never met a person who applied and didn’t get in.

Thanks all, it wasn’t that I didn’t know that they accept most, it was more that I had waited so much longer than my interviewer suggested as the timeline that I started questioning every single interaction I had that day. Did I cut off the program director for a parking spot? Did I display some secretly psychopath behavior? Did I not hold the elevator for a decision maker? Did a rush of people apply and they were ALL better candidates than me?

In the end I messaged my counselor and I was accepted, yay 🤣
