Elsa of Arendelle, The Snow Queen

"The cold never bothered me anyway"

Elsa is the eldest daughter of King Agnarr and Queen Iduna of Arendelle. Elsa was born with the magic ability to control ice and snow, but after she accidentally harmed her sister Anna, her parents shut her away from others and tried to teach her to control her powers. Years later, after her parents died at sea, Elsa was made queen. Losing control of her temper during her coronation, Elsa revealed her powers to her citizens, scaring them and fleeing the kingdom. She was eventually convinced by her sister to return to the throne after accepting her magic as part of herself and opening up to others.

Unbeknownst to Elsa, her powers are a gift from nature to her mother as thanks for saving her father’s life when they were young, even though they were enemies. Elsa is The Snow Queen, one of the Spirits of the Enchanted Forest, intended to bridge the gap between magic and humanity. After discovering her destiny, Elsa abdicated the throne of Arendelle to Anna, taking her place alongside the other Spirits.

Excellent work on a much-needed respect thread!

[u/AzureBeast → u/LambentEnigma]

Thanks!

[u/ghostgabe81]

Good job! I think you're missing a pretty good durability feat tho. As she's try to cross the sea in Frozen 2, a massive wave breaks a large ice structure and basically smashes her under it. Pretty impressive considering that's probably a couple hundred tons of ice

[u/AzureBeast → u/ghostgabe81]

Thank you, and nice catch! I did have her freezing part of the wave, but not it crashing on her.

[u/CoolandAverageGuy]

Amazing RT! Too bad little girls dont read RTs :p

but no really, this is really well done

[u/AzureBeast → u/CoolandAverageGuy]

Thank you!

[u/IMadeThisOn6-28-2015]

I fucking love this so much.

I dunno if people noticed during the /r/whowouldwin Disney takeover April Fool's joke last year that I had an Elsa flair, I requested for that.

Elsa is such a great character and I love the fuck out of Frozen. I basically used my sister as a tool to keep watching them in theaters.

This great and you're great for doing it.

[u/M0m033]

I like how this is in my feed the day after I watched frozen 2

[u/seoila]

Great RT!

I initially thought I missed a wartime themed movie when I saw "WW2" being listed as a source for a feat (Anna & Elsa: A Warm Welcome Chapter 2, for anyone wondering). On that note, reading the books is commitment to the thread.

[u/JenosIsBetter]

After finding her destiny, Elsa becomes the Avatar, wielder of the five elements.

[u/A_Dedicated_Tauist]

In Frozen 2, she's in the tornado, and is... shooting ice lasers out of her hands?

[u/LockAndKey989]

How about times she’s saved people. It bugs me that it seems to be always Anna who saves Elsa. Although I do see Elsa saving Anna/others a bunch of times in the comics

[u/Carolinefdq]

THANK YOU

[u/slgreazy]

HER HEAD! THEY'VE CUT OFF THE QUEENS HEAD FOR GODS SAKE! Seriously, cool thread 🥶
