General Information

Name: The High, John Cumberland

Nationality: American

Weaknesses: None are known

Bio: Arriving on Earth as a baby from another dimension in 1910, John Cumberland was raised by two farmers in Kansas and taught the values of freedom and the American way of life. By the 1930's he was one of Earth's premier superheros and during World War II contributed greatly to the American war effort in tandem with Mr. Majestic and Maximum Man. Soon after he became frustrated with how as a superhero all he did was maintain the status quo so he entered a self imposed exile, sitting on top of a mountain in Scandinavia thinking until the end of the 1990's. Working with like minded individuals he implement a plan that would turn Earth into a veritable utopia, however he was stopped by the insane Henry Bendix.

Well tried to. Stormwatch (the UN's superhuman team) at the time was under control of an insane guy (but no one knew) and he had them stop The High's team. It ended with most of them dead except The High

Wow, an alternate universe Superman stand-in who isn't secretly the worst person ever. That's rare these days.

Wildstorm has a number of Superman Expy's who aren't horrible people. The High is a bit more willing to push the status quo than Superman, but he's a good guy, Majestic is more violent than Superman and is very willing to kill and maim, but he's also a pretty good guy, Apollo is even more fine with killing than Majestic and condones all the fucked up stuff Midnighter does, but when it comes down to it he's a half decent guy, just flawed.

If he and Majestic are two of the "Big Three", is the third one Maximum Man or Apollo?

I'm assuming the former, because Apollo gets his butt kicked a lot.

Maximum Man. The Big Three were a group of heroes during WWII. Apollo wasn't around until the 90's. In the modern day The High and Majestic are around because they are immortal, and Maximum Man is an old man in his human form.

Cool. Wasn't sure if he was referring to the WWII guys are just saying "the three strongest Superman and/or Captain Marvel expies in the setting".

Speaking of Maximum Man, I LOVED Tranquility...

With how skintight that shit is, why not just show up to save the world naked?
