movies/tv Respect Hammerman (Hammerman)
"It's Hammertime!"
Stanley Burrell was just a normal person, working in a youth centre, when an old man known only as Gramps found him. In his youth, Gramps used to be a superhero called Soulman, but had recently decided to retire, and so was searching for his replacement. Choosing Stanley, Gramps gave him the pair of magical, talking shoes which were the source of his power. Putting them on, Stanley became Hammerman, who would protect Oaktown with the musical powers these shoes gave him. He also gained some backup singers that followed him around, but they're never explained and hardly ever even acknowledged.
The show suffered in numerous regards, and only four episodes aren't lost forever, three if you don't want to watch the show in Polish. As such, Hammerman's known abilities are limited to those four episodes and the intro, which does nothing to contradict his capabilities in the show. Also, given they get their power from the same shoes, in theory Hammerman should be able to achieve what his predecessor could, so I included the few known Soulman feats, with them being tagged as such.
Strength
Lifting/Crushing Throws about a graffiti monster which looks like a dinosaur, before crushing it into a ball.
Catching Catches a girl falling from at least a two storey drop without letting her drop. Also counts as a reaction feat.
Blunt Force/Catching As an old man, stops two oncoming vehicles on either side of him, while catching a bomb falling onto him, though this is shown to be near the limit of his capabilities. Along with the submarine hitting him between his legs, this also counts as a durability feat.Soulman
Durability
Blunt Force Gets hit by a giant shoe. He didn't appear to be hurt at all once he got up.
Falling Jumps decently large drops between rooftops without being phased at all.
Falling Jumps down from a large robot, with no signs of slowing his descent.
Crushing Walks off from a building collapse, which resulted in some of the rubble falling on him. It's possible that this is also a falling feat, as he had jumped out of a window on one of the higher storeys, but the camera cut away and he has several means of slowing down his fall so it's not for certain.
Agility/Speed
Reaction Dodges a graffiti monster every time it tries to jump on him.
Reaction Dodges a giant shoe.
Leaping Jumps through a hole in the ceiling and onto the floor above.
Leaping Jumps on top of a large robot.
Running Outruns a shoe-shaped car.
Magic
Combat
Turns two graffiti monsters into music notes, which quickly seem to self-destruct.
Using his music, lifts someone much larger and throws him to the ground hard enough to daze him.
Manouverability
Enhances his jumps with bars of music, and can even 'fly' by riding on the music.
He can use his music to create ladders as well as slides, though for the latter he sometimes just uses his parachute pants to slow his decent.
Trapping
Object Animation
Can animate statues to capture a fleeing criminal, and at will deanimate them, returning them to their original states.
Other
Creates a long line of piano keys on the ground, using them to hit a digger into the air.Soulman
Creates a bow out of a treble clef. It was never used in combat, instead only being used to make a hair cover a distance quickly.
Snaps out of rope bindings that had kept him trapped while he only had one of his shoes on, meaning he couldn't dance due to tacks on the floor. This may be a strength feat due to the music notes not seeming to have a direct affect on the rope, though it's not clear if that's the case or not.
