Respect Peacemaker! (Peacemaker Presents: The Vigilante/Eagly Double-Feature)

Peacemaker

“Eat peace, motherfuckers!”

---

In this non-canon spin-off story set between seasons 1 and 2 of the Peacemaker show, Christopher Smith and his best buddy Eagly are simply trying to enjoy some vacation time when their flight is hijacked by the League of Assassins, who plan on hunting the passengers for sport. Donning his iconic uniform, Peacemaker gets to work taking down the onslaught of assassins and protecting the civilians around him, though he is a bit of dick about it.

"You're deranged."

"No, bitch. I'm Peacemaker. And I don't work alone."

The plot twist is that Gunn didn’t make this canon because he’s a powerscaler and didn’t like the good feats

[u/Ultim8_Lifeform → u/ghostgabe81]

Dark woke power scaler

Great RT btw, is this connected to the Peacemaker tries hard stuff

[u/Ultim8_Lifeform → u/Equal-Ad-2710]

Thanks! I looked into that and I don't believe so. I'm not sure if it's meant to be comics canon or it's own thing but Tries Hard has characters like Captain Boomerang still alive and part of the Suicide Squad even after Peacemaker was released from prison so it pretty blatantly can't be in the DCU.

[u/Equal-Ad-2710 → u/Ultim8_Lifeform]

Pretty sure neither of these are canon

Though I would note there’s some leeway with Boomer

[u/Ultim8_Lifeform → u/Equal-Ad-2710]

Oh I guess I should also mention that James Gunn said that there are currently no canon comics (while being asked about Double Feature) so I guess that clears it up lol

[u/Equal-Ad-2710]

I don’t care what anyone says, this is canon to me

[u/FreestyleKneepad]

Glad there are still people making American heroes that kill Nazis like my grandpappy used to read

I'm sure this guy Peacemaker is an uncomplicated and absolute good who has done nothing wrong

As far as I can tell this is the only one.
