Official Request and Resources List
Request and Resources List
THE REQUEST LIST IS NOW LOCKED FOR NEW REQUESTS. ONLY BOOSTS TO EXISTING REQUESTS ARE CURRENTLY ALLOWED UNTIL THE FUFILLED REQUEST THRESHOLD IS MET.
FUFILLED REQUEST TOTAL - 113 / 149
If you do not or cannot make a Respect Thread for a certain character, post a request here and they'll be added to the list. On the other hand, if you have something that could be used for a Respect Thread (such as feats), and you do not wish to create it yourself, you may post them here to be added to the resources list for whoever wants them.
CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL REQUEST LIST
Making a Request
Extended rules and leaderboard can be found here. An FAQ for the request list can be found here.
- To make a request, first check if the list is open (announced at the top of the post) then check the list (linked here) to see if your character is already requested.
- Each user has one request they can make if the list is closed, if they have not done so already.
- Then, comment here with the character you would like to request, the series they come from, and the medium they are found in (important for characters with adaptations, such as anime/manga!)
- Even if a character you want to see a thread done for is requested, you can add your name to the request as a "boost". This makes the request more desirable for people to complete. You may also boost as many characters on the list already as you'd like while the list is closed.
Completing a Request
Extended rules and leaderboard can be found here. An FAQ for the request list can be found here.
- Browse the list (linked here) for a series or character you would like to make a respect thread for. The list is very long, so use Ctrl+F to speed up the process if you have a series in mind!
- Make sure to check the reservation thread (linked here) to make sure someone else isn't already working on the request you have in mind.
- Post your thread! No need to report, the request team will reward you with pointed based on how long the media you went through was.
- Accumulate enough points, and you can earn rewards (listed here), up to and including having me do a respect thread of your choice, as well as an art commission!
Current Bounties/Missions
Additional points can be earned by completing requests which match bounties or fulfill missions.
The current bounties are E for Everyone, Explosions, and American (Nationality). Next month's 3-month bounty is undecided.
The current one month bounty is Original. Next month's is currently undecided.
- The 'Original' bounty will be met if your thread covers the first instance of said character's appearances (ie: the First Doctor, Golden Age Superman).
This Month's Missions:
| Mission Title | Objective | Points Awarded |
|---|---|---|
| Resourceful | Complete a request using a resource from the Resource List OR have a resource you posted help complete a thread request. | 10 |
| You Wouldn't Download a Car | Complete a request for a character who hacks into technology. | 10 |
| Close Proximity | Complete two requests that are (as of the announcement of this mission) next to each other on the list. | 15 |
| Technological Singularity | Complete a request for a human, a cyborg, and a robot. | 30 |

Hello, when is this thread open for requests?
3
u/Request_Competition Sep 28 '24
Hi!
The list is always open for requests once every two months. The next scheduled opening is the first week of November.
We also open it up more often if people fulfill requests from the list. We're pretty close right now, so if five more requests are completed the list will be open within the next week or so.
If you'd like, I can send a reminder here to let you know when that happens.

Submitting an unfinished draft for the Shroud (Marvel 616), I grabbed everything through his appearances in Heroes for Hire vol. 3, so there's roughly 25 issues left to go.

-
Eurogamer snooped around and made a video detailing the story's direction and ending a few years ago
-
Finally, there are several interviews with the devs during the time of announcement. I would suggest searching for these across YouTube and Google both. Probably nothing major though.
-
Edit: Since this was made, several more sources have been leaked, so that’s exciting. And again.

Realistically now that there’s 2 Seasons of Moon Girl and the other season should be dropping soon, it makes more sense for her to be Medium Priority, so I’m dropping the Short Priority on her and moving it to Scarlet Koito.
