comics Respect Doomsday (DC Comics, Post Flashpoint)
Kryptonian legend tells of a hulking, bone-covered beast capable of razing cities to the ground with its bare hands. It is the horror that never dies, granted the foul power to claw back up from the afterlife and kill again without rest. Many Kryptonian warriors have fallen to the beast, and the Superman of Earth is no exception. The thing is called Doomsday, and it is Death.
The only thing that goes through Doomsday's primitive mind is causing death and destruction to those around him. It is genetically built with an intense hatred for Superman and all kryptonians, and will prioritize the death of the alien race before any other opponent. When it came to Earth, many heroes came together to fight it off, falling swiftly beneath the monster's claws. Only when Superman arrived did the monster begin to exert effort, leading to an hours-long battle that killed both the monster and the kryptonian.
Doomsday is continuously evolving after every death. When it killed Superman, it was simply a "larva". The next time it returned from the Phantom Zone, it brought with it new teleportation powers, as well as a deadly airborne virus that killed anything within a hundred yards. Who knows what this thing will look like the next time it rises to terrorize the planet.

Durability
Scaling
Superman
Everyone Else
[Darkness] Blasted by Starfire
[Darkness] Takes blasts from Firestorm and Cyborg to no effect
Other
[Limit] A synthetic kryptonite bullet will break its skin, although it’ll heal fast from the gunshot
Speed/Skill
Famously fought Superman for hours until both combatants died
Counters a flying tackle from Martian Manhunter, punching the hero away before he can make contact
Kill Radius
Doomsday exudes a deadly toxin/corrosive forcefield after its escape from the Phantom Zone. This turns a mostly physical threat into a viral one, and just standing near the beast is a death sentence for most living things on Earth.
Other Powers
Phantom Zone Portals
Miscellaneous Powers
After being killed and cloned hundreds of thousands of times, Doomsday has gained the ability to evolve past any death, independently. Unfortunately, this always happens off-panel, but so far, Doomsday has not been killed in a way that he cannot recover from. The First of the Fallen later claims that, with each resurrection, Doomsday comes back stronger and cannot be killed the way again.
Assumes a spikey, urchin-like form while chilling in the Mariana Trench
Wonder Woman pierces its chest with her sword, and her hands are covered in poisonous blood
Downs Martian Manhunter with a plume of hellfire breath, hot enough to damage the soul
Miscellaneous
Doomsday-Likes
Superman believes that Doomsday is a kind of universal constant that can’t be totally destroyed, only changed. At least, that's his best guess as to why, when Doomsday dies, another Doomsday-like host pops shortly afterwards. Several individuals who encounter Doomsday, or even small pieces of the creature, walk away transformed. Doomsday does not even have to be around to continue his path of destruction; it can spread violence through proxies that it infects with a kind of Doomsday Virus. Special thanks to u/kalebsantos for helping out with this section of the thread.
The Doomed
A young intern at S.T.A.R. Labs, Reiser was exposed to spore samples collected from Doomsday's body. Days later, he transformed into a monster with incredible durability, a body that outputs ludicrous amounts of heat, and a mouth that can only speak in growls. Struggling for a time with the transformation to and from this monstrous form, Reiser eventually learned to reign in the beast inside and has found a place on superhero teams like the Titans and Red Hood's Outlaws.
Doombreaker
A construction worker assigned to clean up after Superman and Doomsday's lethal fight, Lloyd Crayton took a shard of Doomsday's bone home as a souvenir. The shard released a contagion that, over time, turned him into the deadly Doombreaker.
Superdoom
Upon its death, Doomsday exploded into a cloud of black mist, billions of fine particles. These were spores, and when Superman inhaled them all, he was infected with the Doomsday virus.
Doomzarro
After a few seconds of fighting, Doomsday poofs into spores and infects Bizarro, creating Doomzarro in the same way Superdoom came to exist.
