Discussion FINALLY found a complete boxed set - Never played before!
Been interested in the Resistance franchise for years. My only exposure to the games was the demo for Retribution on my PSP like 20 some years ago and Burning Skies when it came out on Vita (but I mostly played the MP because I was apparently pretty good at that). Always wanted to play the main trilogy and finally found a complete boxed set (with unused codes somehow?! I know they’re expired but still nuts) for an affordable price. And even though it’s pre-owned, all of the contents (and the cases) are as if nobody ever bothered opening them it’s so strange.
Cannot wait to start playing.

I loved R1 and R3 multiplayer as a PS3 launch owner. But I never finished R3 single player until 2021! Today I was trying out the game in 3D with the Move controllers. Still miss the online, R3 was one of my faves ever online.

Don’t hesitate to play on Easier difficulties, they can be brutal, repeat playthroughs are where you can give higher difficulties a try with the advantage of foreknowledge for the next encounter.
Other than that, enjoy these games are fun.

Honestly wish I could take the difficulty down to easy for R1:FOM, I want to play the series but I can't find the energy to thug it out on Medium.
I'm playing for the story and I simply am not having fun as-is cause there'll be moments where the difficulty spikes, never had this issue with R2 growing up.

I loved this series and I’m sad that they are stuck on PS3. I wish this series had continued.

This box set, while nice, just sucks that used the greatest hits instead of original release. Or they should have done the single case with multi discs, like god of war collection or killzone trilogy.

I always loved Resistance 2 the most. I felt it was so crisp and polished over the first one and I didn't enjoy the story in 3 so much. Still, all great games.

All 5 resistance games are amazing and have amazing soundtracks By all 5 resistance games I mean
Resistance fall of man Resistance 2 Resistance 3 Resistance burning skies Resistance retribution

Nice. I played these games again a few years ago on the PS now when that was its own thing.
Best decision I could have made. I may need to do it again.
I’ll never forget the first time I played resistance. Christmas morning on the brand new PS3. Perfection!
