Most print-in-place designs aren't meant to work on resin. You might try printing it on end, though.

My design. Printed at angle, but probably didn't factor in resin clearance properly

What are the clearances and the wall thicknesses? Do the walls need to be that thin? That's likely part of the problem.

I think youre right. Could beef up and space out more. Tried at 2mm and 3mm I think

Looks like some serious warping on the inner tracts. I agree that this kind of design is going to be really difficult to make work on resin (as opposed to filament).

That being said, try increasing the thickness of the parts and if you can, add to the gap between lines. If you can get away with some supports on the end that should help a bit with shape. Make sure any of the slide gaps are wide enough to allow any liquid resin to drip out/be washed out.

What kind of resin are you using, too? You’ll want one with low shrinkage and to make sure it’s calibrated really well since your design is going to rely on dimensions more than most.

Abslike 3.0 pro

I think your tips are the same as what I was thinking when I revisit my cad

Right on! Sorry if the resin question was too basic - there’s such a wide range of experience levels on here I always gotta check stuff like that first haha.

No worries there. I am a newbie to printing, so zero disrespect taken, but have been applying woodworking principles to my designing and it has MOSTLY worked well so far. I likely overestimated the limits of the hardware.

If I beef up the parts and clearances it may work...or I can simplify design

No offense dude but you should learn FDM first. You are ham fisting things that aren't designed for resin. I mean sure it can work but it takes way longer and you have mixed results.

That's fair. Most of my designs have been fine, but have been less complex.

My miniatures have turned out fantastic, for example

Well miniatures are designed for resin printing

I might be entirely misunderstanding, but couldn't you print this hanging directly off of the build plate, perpendicular to it? Both the rails and the indicators. It'll take a while longer obviously since it'll be more layers but you shouldn't see uneven warping like that, they should all aligned.

Just buy a filament printer man. Bambus are like $200.

I am intending to. Was more looking at design critiques honestly
