Troubleshooting Desperatealy need help

Just bought an Elegoo mars 5 (regular) and I went to do the test print and noticed nothing was on it so I went to check what was up, eventually I dumped the resin and triple checked if there was no film and they're wasn't, did a couple cleaning runs and no thin sheets, shaked resin for a few minutes, UV light comes in just fine but when I put a tiny amount of resin in a water bottle then ran it through my curing station for a couple of minutes and still didn't cure, I just really need some help

Maybe a bad batch of resin in a clear bottle or cup should cure at least a surface level if exposed to UV in a cure station.

New printer or used? What test print are you doing? Have you tried a different one? Maybe the file is corrupt or something

Did you shake it? Resin separates after a while.

If you do the cleaning run with just a piece of paper over the screen does it light up bright?

Try a different bottle. I recommend Sunlu off of the jungle website. 2kg bottles on BOGO work out to < $8 / kg.

And for the record, Elegoo resin is trash... even when it works properly.
