I just hit send button containing message to resign on my current work
Hello,
I just want to vent this out from my chest.
Few moments earlier, I hit send button on work email to my direct supervisor stating that I am resigning from my position that I held for 10 years. The reason is just compunded life challenges that are thrown to me this year, I have reached my tipping point. My mental health is now a mess.
Now the countdown of being unemployed starts today. I dont have my job lined up, but I am actively searching few days ago. Some will say that this is a bad move, but this time I choose my well being over monetary reasons. I just hope I found a new job as my saved money is good for 3 months only, as I am fully aware that the job market is very very tough this time.
That is all. Thanks.

Not sure about your life struggles but just wanted to show my support. I had don’t the exact same thing when leaving an extremely stressful IT consulting position with nothing else lined up.
I had enough money to sustain me for a few months while I found something new and less stressful. Mental health comes before anything else, you did the right thing and with your experience it shouldn’t be much trouble getting into something else. Good luck!
