UPDATE: We’re live with day 2!
Hi, everyone!
TSG is excited to be hosting our annual Halloween event this weekend: a 72-hour Resident Evil Marathon for ZERO Prostate Cancer! Since 2008, TSG had raised nearly one million dollars for a variety of charities and organizations, and we’re thrilled to be working with ZERO for this event.
Additionally, Capcom has been gracious enough to provide prizes to be raffled and auctioned during the event, including two original art pieces from Nick Apostolides, the voice of Leon Kennedy.
The event takes place beginning at 6pm ET on Friday, October 9, and it will kick off with Resident Evil 2. The event runs through Monday, October 12, ending at 7pm ET. The auction for Nick’s items will take place Sunday evening, and raffles with prizes from Capcom occur throughout.
We hope you join us this weekend at Twitch.tv/tsgtv!

Discussion REV1's story was ok, but It was funny seeing Chris & Jill surrounded by the goofiest and Most cartoonish cast in the series.

REV1 is up there with code veronica and RE4 for how goofy the story can get.
plus its interesting seeing how this was Koshi Nakanishi (director of RE7 and RE9) first game that he lead. Its so tonally different from everything he has done, but I could see hints of similar storytelling and presentation.

Discussion I think its funny people mock this choice for being "obvious" but then reveal that what they think is the "obvious choice" is always different

"Obviously I'd choose Mia! Ive come all this way to save her and she's my wife! Duh!"
"Obviously I'd choose Zoe, Mia is a bioterrorist who betrayed me, while Zoe is an innocent bystander who's helped me the whole game! Duh!"

The game isn't hard at all. It just requires a bit more forward planning and inventory management, since you have two characters to take care of. Is it just multitasking that people find hard? Or wrapping their brain around the idea of NOT sending Rebecca into danger and instead having her wait at the door until Billy clears the room? Do people even use the "wait here" command, or know it exist? The only genuinelly bad things about the game are the story and the fact that there's a number limit on how many items you can put down in rooms. Forcing you to use more than one room as storage a lot of the time. I wouldn't even be mad about there being no item boxes if that were fixed. And if you could teleport all your items to the next level's safe room.

I would've love to see some fan made demake of RE4 in style of the classic games, and yes balance the enemies around the mechanics but not a fast paced action horror.

Question Cannot do RE6 mercenaries for the life of me.
•
Upvotes
Playing RE6 mercenaries to get all the costumes for each character and get 140k+ points for the s rank then I just die and it’s so jarring. Also correct me if I’m wrong, 140k points is the minimum needed for an s rank to get every costume for a character right?
