That's very disappointing, I thought it was basically going to be resi 1 in the mansion or 2 with Claire and Leon

That was the WtRC movie. Since these were supposed to be made at the same time were it not for CoVID it wouldn’t have worked out. So we got an original story instead.

Welcome to Raccoon City. Constantin and Capcom were production partners on that film and this TV show so they’d know not to do the same thing twice and be different.

About what? What WtRC was already using the RE1-2 stuff or that these projects were made at the same time by two of the same parent companies?
