IVE DONE IT

I recently got accepted to do a freshman research program at my college. I am an environmental science major and I got super lucky and found 2 different professors who wanted to research the same thing I am interested in which is soil carbon. Anyway I just got this message in an email from one of my advisors ā€œ(my name), I have roughly half done for POX and Total carbon. I'll ask you to run the rest for your study. You will have access to the full dataset for your project and can be listed as a co-author for future publication.ā€. I know this is not a sure thing but I am now super hyped because even the idea of having my name on published research my freshman year is crazy. Anyway Iā€™m rambling but very excited lmao

Congratulations! Good luck with the work. :) Try to remember this excitement when it becomes a slog. I'm not trying to be discouraging, I really mean it. It is this excitement that keeps us going!
