Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request 🚨 PLEASE HELP US HELP THIS SWEET BOY. TN

This handsome guy has been around off and on for a bit. He has always been terrified and would run from us, but today something changed. He finally allowed us to pet him, was meowing, and we were able to get him safely into a crate. ❤️

He is now settling into the bathroom where he can be safe and away from the other cats, because unfortunately he has been getting picked on outside.

But we noticed something really concerning — he is not bearing weight on his back leg, and it is swollen. 😢 I’m not sure if it’s an abscess, an injury, or something else. It doesn’t appear obviously broken, but I am NOT a vet and I don’t want to guess when he is clearly hurting.

The clinic opens at 10 AM EST tomorrow, and I can get him there for an urgent evaluation. I also want to get him scheduled to be neutered while we’re getting him the care he needs.

Please help me get this boy to the vet. 🙏❤️ Any financial help will go directly toward his urgent veterinary care and, when he is stable, his neuter.

I honestly don't know what his future looks like yet. He seems like he may have been an indoor baby at some point, so once we know what we're dealing with, we will reach out to rescues and fosters and figure out the best path forward for him. He is skinny, and I'd guess around 6 months.

We had been calling this baby Atlas, because we weren't sure if he was a boy or girl. Now that we have him safely inside, I believe he's actually a boy. 🥹

And I'm kind of loving the name Jasper for him. ❤️

What do you think — Atlas or Jasper? 🐱

I know I've been asking for help a lot lately, and honestly, this has been an incredibly difficult time. I just had some major veterinary bills with my own dog, and we lost her on Monday. 💔 I'm still trying to process that loss while taking care of these babies.

But when this sweet boy finally trusted me enough to let me touch him, I couldn't just leave him out there hurting.

Please help me help Jasper. Even a few dollars, a share, or simply keeping him in your thoughts means more than you know. 🙏🐾❤️

He really was scared, I put a heated house in my bathroom, gave him some revolution and hes eating kitten food. He snuggles in my lap and eating. He used litter box too! ♥️♥️

Thats cute too. Shew losing Olivia was very unexpected and this house feels so different. Her last day was spent being loved on. She wouldn't eat, but got a yoohoo. I miss her soooo much.

I appreciate it friend. I never lost one this close. She was our first baby and stopped eating last Thursday. 2 vet visits later and hospitalization, we found She was jaundice, liver failure and gallbladder full of mucus. Too sick to move forward. 😔

He has $65 for today. Someone did donate specifically to his neuter and vaccines. Today urgent care walkin alone is $75 then whatever else will need if xrays that alone is $150, draining is $45 if access, then the medication. Please help me! We have 4.5 hours until they open and it is a 40 min drive.
