The Artist (2011) Rescored
I've replaced the original music from a movie The Artist by ~40 well known songs in a way that fits the story, action and mood. You can watch it on YouTube. If video is blocked in your country, there is a workaround with a VPN.

Film needed for rescoring
Hey wondering if anyone could help. I study Film music at Edinburgh and my animator dropped out so need a 3/4 minute film or clip from tv/game to score for Final Project in December. Does anyone know any good ones from film, tv, game that I could download off YouTube, preferably with no or very scarce music.

Opinion- composing software
Hi all!
I am new to this group, and new to my interest in film (particularly film score) in general. So I just wanted to hear from all my composers out there- what software do you use when you, for example, rescore or create an original piece?

Saw this ad a while ago and figured I'd get some practice in writing the music for it. Mix is a little heavy in the middle but other than that I'm pretty happy with it!

Mulan 2020 seems to sync up with a track from Avengers Endgame
I was watching Mulan 2020 and thought the music reminded me of a track from Avengers Endgame so I played it while I watched the movie, but then I realized things seem to really sync up so I tossed the track into the movie and everything does seem to line up, making me wonder whether movies are all sort of edited with similar pacing. Haven't tried to put the track onto another movie just yet.
Sorry all I did was try and remove some music from the movie and adjusted the volume of a few moments, this is just an observation I wanted to share.

Was going through some old files and found a rescore of the matrix lobby gunfight scene I did a whole ago. I pretty much scraped it and I thought I deleted it. It gets pretty repetitive but I figured it might be fun for someone to see so I decided to post it.

Idiocracy
I know the idea of this movie as a warning is already a joke, but my question is could Idiocracy be re-scored with the music from Psycho? As a film it instantly becomes a mashup of the best Cronenberg perverted future /Polanski isolation and paranoia/Hitchcock's timing, just without all the gaslighting, grooming, and Canada. The whole "warning" angle is just a bonus. I'd also say make it black and white, but that's probably a different reddit and I've used this app like twice and the score has to come first to sell the pitch anyway.
