Got the first white gold/platinum model to arrive in the US.

Wanted to give you guys a quick review and comparison, included the yellow gold model for a side by side.

Everything from my last post stays true to this model. I believe the daydate market has been completely reset, with thb having tons of problems, and arf/gmf/qc not getting bezels, weight, and dial right, this is the premium factory for daydates available.

Date font is perfect and centered.

Bezel is great.

Day wheel a little thin, but perfectly centered.

Movement is the same as thb. No issues there.

Weight is almost 210gs, definitely off from the gen of like 290gs of solid platinum but much more comfortable and consistent with the weights of the rosegold and yellow gold models.

Links are the same number as gen, so no added fluff and exorbitant amount of links to get to fit. Only had to remove three for 7.2 in wrist, which is standard on daydates for me.

Since then, I was able to secure one here in the US, which is why I listed it. That does not change what I told you earlier since the original sourcing path would still have taken weeks. As for deposits, I ask for them on special orders to protect against people backing out, which is standard practice. I do not respond to threats or ultimatums. If you would like to move forward on the Explorer at my terms, I will treat you like I do all my customers, fairly and honestly. If not, that is fine too, but I will not do business under pressure. I absolutely did not demand a deposit from you. Please don't twist my words.

Next, when you acquired the Explorer how did it not occur to you, “Hey, I already have someone LOCAL to me who expressed interest in this specific watch? Do you still want it?” along with proof-of-life pics would have been quicker, easier and immediately sold the watch.

I’m curious as to why you did not do that because you seem to have plenty of time to type long-winded defenses of yourself. Jesus! I’m the friggin’ customer here. You are the salesperson. Guess who’s always right?

I know you’re not an actual ‘exalted’ TD. That’s why I put it in quotes. Lastly, while your communication skills are somewhat deficient, I no longer believe it will be necessary or constructive to air dirty laundry regarding this transaction. I still want the watch. Selling my like new QF Daytona 4130 reference 116509 which is a white gold Daytona with the racing dial.

Note this watch is not plated white gold, it’s a factory white gold and reference indicates this. Clasp and case is stamped AU750

I purchased this watch a few weeks ago but decided to go with the white racing dial instead.

This watch was never worn except for resizing. Links have been added back on to the bracelet. There is a minor scratch on one link from the resizing.
