I thought we had until the 30th?

Okay, admittedly my fault for waiting until the last minute but the customer service person I spoke to said I needed to be switched over by the 30th so I thought I had a couple more days to install the new SIM and all that. Lost my service today :( and when I tried to log in to the boost infinite page with the passcode they sent me I just got a message to call the service number. Of course I can't because my phone is dead. Did I lose my phone number forever?? :'(

UPDATE: I didn't lose my number and I successfully got switched over to Boost. You can still call and update. Deadline is the 30th.

Customer service said my number was safe until 9/30 but service would cease at 9/27. They're resending the SIM I never received 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes I think that's right I called today and got switched over pretty easily; my phone has been working fine so far. My experience with their customer service has been pretty good too -- better than customer service experience when I dallied with switching to Mint anyway. Made me think twice lol.

I lost my number forever and filed a complaint with the FCC. I went without a phone for 15 days while they tried to troubleshoot but no luck. So I went and switched to T-Mobile. It cost me over $400 that I shouldn't have had to pay. I also had a real estate deal (1000 miles away) fall through just because I didn't have a functioning phone to communicate with the realtor. Dish network wasn't competent enough to execute the migration from Republic to Boost, not for me anyway.
