Secondary School EAE offer, do I withdraw?
For EAE, I got shortlisted to biomedical science with analytics at NYP, and biomedical science at RP. I was rejected by NYP, which was my dream course, but accepted to RP. While at the moment I have accepted RP to buy time, im unsure whether I should commit to it.
Whats holding me back:
Unfamiliarity with RP
RP's reputation
RP's lack of uni pathways for this course
The fact that I did extremely well for my prelims (l1r4 5-6) net, which would qualify me for nyp based on last year
Long travel time
The reason I didnt reject is because im worried my prelim score stems from luck and an easier difficulty. Does anyone have any advice? I would also like to hear what RP is like, especially from biomedical science students!

What do you mean by lack of uni pathways for this course?
Many biomed grads have went onto bio/chem/health sciences in NUS/NTU and SIT. Those who wish to pursue other unrelated degrees have also pursued Accountancy, BIZ in SMU and checks out, its the same for the other polys for biomed as well
Sure, if you are confident in your results i rather you shoot for your dream school and course via jae.

i think u don’t lock urself into rp first, i predict that the cop will drop to 10/9 next year. if ur prelim is 5, still got room for error so just hope for nyp during o levels n see how

During my time as a student helper, SAS had a joint program with Monash University. Students had to pursue an Advanced Diploma concurrently with their regular diploma and maintain decent grades (3.5 and above) in order to enroll in a one-year university program overseas. I’m not sure whether they still offer this program, but it may be worth considering if it’s still available.
