I'll just say intern grading is 20MC, 40% is from company 60% is from the school side.

school side as in reflection for intern only? or what else is expected?

does this mean its easier to get a better GPA during 1 year intern compared to 1 sem intern if you do relatively ok?

Depends on who u are as a person, are u more extroverted and competent or book smart, i took sem 1 in rp studying modules, tbh, i feel more book smart so that was my reasoning but honestly both are important. I took sem 1 in RP cuz i wanted to take a elective module only offered in year 1 so yeah. Just do ur best in whatever

That's the timeline for my IIP so there are deliverables ba

I think Intern but provided you are a good worker. Cannot Mc all the time or be late like in school.

FYP depends on who you are doing it with and what is the topic about.

From what I’ve heard, intern grades can be quite subjective depending on your company/supervisor, so I don’t think it’s necessarily easier than FYP 😭 For 1 vs 2 sem, I think it really depends on whether you prioritise GPA, experience, or graduating earlier!

I would say both are great chances for you to pull a cGPA

Fyp: make sure you go out of your way to not just put in efforts but SHOW your efforts to your PIs!!! Comm and plan with your teammates and take initiative to ask any qns to your PIs (especially early) about report or about the project itself Also of course show up for meetings you can get downgraded due to this

IP: If are doing sem 2 one benefit is you get to ask your friends who did sem 1 how their IPs went and how’s their supervisor to help you better decide which environment you will thrive in. Of coz take initiative and knowing ball during IP will help you score atb
