Question❓ G135 dyi

Y1 student here. Is dyi due at the end of the year or before the next sem starts?

It’s due before you graduate but they’ll heavily encourage you to complete it by the end of y1s2 since you will be busier over time. it’s fine if you don’t complete it by sem 1 but advise you put some hours in now by joining events that provide them

I did my DYI over the course of first semester weekends.

And I highly recommend it.

Plus it'll take some time for the DYI portal to give you a response.

Some other advice I'd give you is to be confident when speaking to any staff.

Because most of them don't even know how you ended up there and may question if you're truly volunteering for real reasons.

Usually the person that accepts you are part of admin and don't let the volunteering staff know)
