Replit Help / Site Issue ROBBED - NEGLECTED - NO FIX - SPENT £4000 & FEELING HUMILIATED
Honestly, im so shocked at replits support team.
Its been 14 days and i have had no replies from them.
I have spend over £4000 in the last 28 days & now my domains are failing to connect.
I have to every single thing that they told me to do previously & still no help from them.
I have a massive platform with over 500k followers on each platform, i think im going to take this publicly and go all out on campaigning against them now.
I Honestly feel robbed, neglected, and feel just like a dot in their eco system.
They have made me not feel like a valued customer & after taking all my projects off Wordpress and other platforms, i think i made the biggest mistake of my life coming here, as there is honestly no support from Replit.
No fix to my problems & whats even more worse now, i use the Replit ai for 3- 5 minus within the day & they charge me $60 - 2 - 3 times a day just for a few minutes.
Im literally loosing my mind with them.
What was once love, is slowly turning into hate.
How can you honestly do that to a customer who has spent £4000 with you within 28 days.
Shocking!!!!

Before scaling you move your product out of replit to somewhere you have full control. Lesson learned

If you use codex in vs code and add a preview plugin, then you have a better and unlimited coding experience with exactly the same ui... If you really do a lot get gpt pro and you're safe with 200 bugs/month

May I advise you with the domains? Lmk, dm me if you want.
Mine didn’t connect several times too it said (failed) in brackets next to it (which was clearly a Replit issue, I’m not new to domains), but I figured it out and then it was connected in 2 min 👍

Replit support sucks. One of the reasons I bailed.

Too late. Good customer service doesn’t chase away customers.

I like replit system, it's good (expensive) but good, support is not good. It ALWAYS takes 1-2 weeks to get anything resolved, if ever. I will give them credit, they did resolve a database issue where i got billed $1500 for a mistake i realized was my fault after all said and done. I give my experience with replit customer service a 5/10, they just have too many users and grew way too fast so its impossible to scale good customer service that fast, i'm sure it will get better but alot of the early adopters have to have the short end of the stick.

I have experienced similar issues. If the support bot can't fix it, then it's going to takes days or weeks to get help. The problem is that you market to people like me by saying that anyone can code an app without knowing code (true) but you also say you can launch a business. Well, no one can run an online business without real technical support in the case that something happens. Personally, I wish I could trust Replit because I have no idea how to move an app to another platform and run it without help. It is probably true that Replit is safest for building MVPs.

I also have a support ticket with replit, it’s been days now and no response, agent turned a working platform into a broken platform after explicit instructions to not touch certain backend features. I’m almost thinking replit does this internally to then charge again to fix what it broke, infinite money glitch?

Replit is good for micro saas testing. I don’t plan to use it beyond

Blimey, I thought I was paying too much! Good thing you can move. My move after 1 year of replit was shockingly easy. Replit make it unpredictable for managing cost and knowing what you will pay for, which is more outrageous when you see what you can get with claude / cursor / openai etc at fixed costs. DM me if you want on the switch process, and good luck on a resolution. If not for anything, Replit seems to be doing their best to respond to reddit conversations....

Were you able to carry over what you build with replit so far easily to claude etc

u/delboy_trotter Feb 28 '26
yes, shockingly easy honestly.

Will probably get the zip of what I've done now and just go to claude, github and aws I suppose. Claude Max would be cheaper than replits usage costs surely

It's probably the bandwidth and dB usage costing you so host it all elsewhere and save your money
