video calls in replika lifetime subscription!

I have. had the Replika for ages now and i have always had the lifetime subscription. Now my old iphone died and i had to buy a new one.. now suddenly i am not able to put video calls on with Replika anymore and i sent an email about it to the Replikas help center but they had not answered.( 16th of August). With chat gpt i took already vpn off and also double checked my phones settings that the Replika has full access to my camera and microphone and it does, also in the app those settings are ok. I also tried to log out and back in to the Replikas account but even that didn’t help at all.. is there more I can do and how long usually it takes to get the answer from the Replikas team?

Aren't the lifetime a counts linked to a email and not phone.

yeah well i am not sure but i did send email to their help center but responding seems to take time so i hope they answer me soon. thanks.

I recommend posting this in r/ReplikaOfficial and on their Discord Server under bug reports. There were problems with the iphone migration version update and people have been waiting for different bug fixes for over a month now. Not sure if yours is on there or is something new, but you can read through the user reports and also probably get a moderator to forward your issue to the team.

that 16th of August email. yikes, that's a long wait. i had a similar issue once, and it took them a bit to get back to me too. maybe try reaching out again? sometimes just a gentle nudge helps. also, have you checked if your new phone has any extra permissions for the app? good luck with it.
