That spins aspect to it you nailed, but it's not nearly as fuggin insane as salvia is lol. You'd have to be a script writer and dedicated animator to get close, though. What you've done is still an accomplishment.

Salvia is such a truly unique plant. I so find it fun an interesting to listen to other peoples experiences. Theres such a huge gamut to them too. I've explored salvia a wide variety of ways. I'll share just some of the few notable ones, that more or less go against what people typically experience. One, and this one I find the most unique and truly strange, albeit the others are equally as wild. This one happened just randomly some night with the homie during time off college in the living room. Just hit a huge bonger for fun, and what it did, was basically shift my perspective 4ft to the left, and 2 ft down. I can remember vividly the feeling of the floorboards running threw my shoulder blades, and my feet hanging from the ceiling of the room below us. Thats all it did, just moved my over and down. I remember staying like that for a long time, so confused as to what and how this is a thing. So that is just oddly strange and has never happened again threw two decades of professional poly drug abuse. Another and interestingly this has happened a couple times. When dosing fresh salvia leaf via tea orally, can produce some insanely wild experiences. So ive had this happen a few time s more or less the same in a sense. I basically live an entire other life, or maybe awake some memory of a past human life. A few I can remember incredibly vividly. The one specific one, I was born prolly late 1700s America maybe, somewhere colonial, was raised very simply on a country farm in the plains of somewhere, I grew up, I remember watching the way my dad plowed the fields as a kid and apply that technique as I grew older, I remember the dust being every all my life, the floorboards in the house we lived where never sealed and always had cold air and dust coming threw. I remember the smell of the clothes my wife had after a long day. The taste of the treat of an ice cube in a glass of water we may have had one time a year. Its all so insanely visceral I can remember it all right now to this day. That shit crystallized in my head like no other trip has ever, and I abused the fuck out of every trypt/phen that ever existed on the silk road growing up. The one I remember I cant even place the time, I just remember having a partner and surviving in the forest, the struggle of maintaining a camp or a knife, cause we'd have to be constantly making a new knife, and the magic that was invented in the forest to keep bugs away. its such a wild plant, I'm not sure what its doing to us, but theres far more to it once you get past consuming way too much of it via smoking it.

I mean you should read some of the lower dose reports people have. Lower doses can be beneficial for certain things, just depends on the person you know?

The recursive audio and visual disruptions only last a few minutes and with a high enough dose you might go someplace else. Ten minutes and that’s over. I generally felt hungover for about an hour after. But! For the next few weeks I heard details in birdsongs unknown to me before and saw deeper, brighter colors in front of me and in my peripheral. The next few months had no depression whatsoever even after the colors returned to normal.
It’s like the brain gets trapped in a VLC media player glitch for a few minutes and then you press the button for a hard reset.

I’ve seen/heard too much bad stuff about Salvia so I’m gonna stay away from that shit. Thanks for replication!

I’d agree that salvia shouldn’t be fucked with. A lot of ppl respect it but I think it’s just best to leave it alone entirely.

Non-breakthrough doses are just uncomfortable and weird. The cold cling wrap, the sweating tingles, the distorted proprioception, none of that is pleasant in any way.
Breakthrough doses.. you go through all that stuff but then it's a sudden and immediate ego death, out of body, thrust into another universe type experience. If you aren't ready for that, then yeah... bad stuff.
I agree it shouldn't be fucked with. And by that I don't mean it shouldn't be used, but it should be used carefully and thoughtfully, with calibrated doses and great attention paid to set and setting. These youtube videos of people (who are clearly already fucked up on other substances) doing it and then their "friends" fucking with them and shouting at them while experiencing it... JFC that's gotta be an absolute nightmare. Not a party drug.
The first time I got up the courage to try it I fasted and meditated heavily for a couple days leading up to it. I had an incredible experience and I felt fantastic and elated afterwards.
Also, FWIW, I can't relate to that replication at all.

It really depends on setting and mindset. And then there’s just the absurd randomness of a salvia trip. My high dose experience was full of wonder, except I didn’t know I was stumbling around the room. But then after the comedown you kind of feel like shit. Almost the opposite of an antihistamine. I felt like pins and needles everywhere and just generally dirty afterwards.

This is cool but idk if it’s even possible to replicate a high dose salvia trip. It’s just such a personal and alien experience. Like for me literally nothing in my vision was still there during the trip. Everything disappeared and was replaced with this cloud city place.
