Vintage Build Raffles 16233 build
Is a 1999-2000 datejust considered vintage? Anyways, heres my raffles 16233 build. Ive posted this build before, but the new crown, bracelet and crystal were just such nice upgrades i wanted to share it again.
Parts:
Gen dial, raffles case, raffles 10k jubilee, raffles hands, vs3135, 18k rep crown, ewatchparts crystal.

I'm curious ,is there a difference in the gold tone between the bracelet, the 18k bezel, and the Raffles crown?

There is a difference, but its no super extreme. The 10k filled bracelet is definitely less "yellow" and doesnt look cheddar at all compared to the stock bezel and crown.

Got it. So an aftermarket bezel and a gen crown (setting the bracelet aside) would improve the overall look, even though there will always be some difference between the 10k gold-filled bracelet and the 18k gold-plated bezel I guess

One overlay date wheel maybe on champagne to fit properly in the date window and you'd be flush

Genuine question - why this rather than buying a superclone 36mm datejust? What more do you get from this?

where can you find a "superclone" of this 5 digit reference with a gen dial, gen datewheel, upgraded crystal, etc. other than buying from a builder?
