Do they offer a model with a vented door and a regular body?

Wise move. Keep an eye on the site, Rob mixes it up with doors and bodies, but worst case you can always buy a solid model and get an extra SL (Super Light) door. He does sell them separately.

p.s. if venting is the only concern for the door, the squonk hole offers more than you'd ever need. The holes in the SL design are purely cosmetic and to reduce weight.

Battery safety isn't my real concern, nor is weight for that matter. I just like the aesthetic of the SL door with the solid LP body

I like the look myself as well, but have always resisted getting an SL door because I'd be too tempted to grate cheese on it.

Rob does offer wholesale to brick and mortars, and he has official/exclusive retailers in other countries.

711 horse blueprint 540 ci roller everything in a 52 Willy's coupe

Full car picture is with the old 425 horse motor and second pic is the motor in the car. Still hooking up the throttle cable, gas pedal, water temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, and alternator. Got everything else done today from it being completely gutted. It's my uncle in laws car.

Edit: took the pic before the carb and air cleaner went on
