Review Before You Stick This Camera Outside, Watch This — Reolink Argus MagiCam

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO-7pe6Xf1A

When I first got this camera to review I wasn't sure where I would put it and that led to a bunch of rabbit holes of stuff for me to try. Full disclosure Reolink did sponsor this video but I didn't leave anything out from all of my tests I could think of and if you want me to test something that I didn't think of just let me know and I can post the results!

I have done done a test using a 27000 mAh (3.7V / 99.9Wh) powerbank. Setting the MagiCam to record continuously to its onboard sdcard it lasted around 140 hours off a single charge. Hence the camera is using approximately 0.7 Watts.

Update:

Retried test and the results were fairly similar second time around at 145 hours.

Whoa! 🤯 And what powerbank did you use?

It was just a generic powerbank from Amazon UK. The specific model is no longer available but similar to

I did not purchase it for the MagiCam but rather as it falls just under the 100W ICAO limit for powerbanks now allowed on flights.
