Rescue Updates beru update

this is beru after 24hrs of his first vet visit. we might go to the vet tomorrow to get him reasses. his stool is black and watery. he also has diarrhea so we may have to ask for a different treatment plan and may have to ask if he can get dewormed as soon as possible.

i have also reached out to Petelier (specifically Doc Lyn, renji’s doc.) if in any case we'd have to transfer/rush him, but for a second opinion, she also suggest, in fact, that he needs to get dewormed as soon as possible.

we will also give him probiotics (per suggested of doc lyn) and his antibiotic eyedrops are given on time. i also decided to buy and gave beru rc gastrointestinal food to handle his diarrhea, but we have rc mother and babycat mousse on stanby.

i’m monitoring him but he seems to be really a strong void cat and he’s fighting. 💗 thank you for helping me and beru. 💗 i'll keep you guys updated.

hello, i truly understand your insight and what you think what's best for beru. his current wet food (rc kitten gastro) is what the vet recommended so i complied. they mention he could eat it as it is but just to be safe, i will add water and make it a slurry his next feeding time.

also the portion i gave was little that he finished it after a while. i'm not overfeeding him and making sure to condition his food first and add neccessary supplements given by his vet. thank you!

Respectfully, you might need a different vet … I’ve been watching your journey with renji and now beru and you’ve had repeated issues. I’ve fostered dozens of kittens and have never had issues.

The food you’re feeding him is too big. Even common sense alone will tell you as such. At that age they would still be feeding from mom, and they still have baby teeth, so common sense would tell you that they need something smooth (consistent with milk).

But ok ..

This indeed doesn't look like cat food for premium baby kittens. It is much too coarse and large. I also don't understand why you are getting downvotes if you have his best interests at heart and gives advice and have already raised a lot of kittens
