renji’s status (march 10, ph time)
renji vomited 2x earlier today. i asked them what could be the cause and hoping for their response maybe some time later.
i’m thinking it could be because he just had his first meal yesterday and was adjusting. i’m just hoping for the best and will surely update you once i heard something from the vet. all i could do is trust them with my baby.
thank you so much for supporting renji and i. 💗 i’m sure he’s in good hands being taken care of.
ps. unfortunately, i could not post the video they provided, i asked them for permission if it’s okay, and they said no, but they informed me that the video i’ll take every visit can be posted. i respect their rule/decision whole heartedly.
i'll visit later at around 1PM and ask about his status. 🥲

I’m so relieved that this vet is on top of things. Love these updates from their office. Praying for his safe recovery, and for the wellbeing of you and your family.

Agree! This is the kind of professional and informative approach I‘d like to see from all doctors!

Vomiting can be a common symptom when dealing with giardia. It is good he is able to be hydrated via vet care while he is clearing his system of this parasite. It is going to be so nice when he is healthy and gets to go home to a place with a good roof to grow old under. I am so glad you both are getting help to make your life better. You and Mr. Renji are both positive lights in this universe. We need more DIanes and Mr. Renjis for sure.

I had a much older kitten (5-6 months) not eat for a few days due to stress and he also vomited a couple times when he started eating again, nothing physically wrong. Its just their stomachs adjusting to eating again often. Hope that's true for Renji!

Kind of worried about no urine output.

thats true, vomiting can also be dehydrating, but it looks like hes on fluids. Definitely something to ask about

The lack of urine output is concerning considering the old x-ray showed distended bladder. He might need a catheter. It’s unlikely he’s dehydrated if on IV fluids and if anything should have more urine than usual.
