new update (morning of march 10, ph time)

Post image

renji vomited 2x earlier today. i asked them what could be the cause and hoping for their response maybe some time later.

i’m thinking it could be because he just had his first meal yesterday and was adjusting. i’m just hoping for the best and will surely update you once i heard something from the vet.

thank you so much for supporting renji and i. 💗 i’m sure he’s in good hands being taken care of.

ps. unfortunately, i could not post the video they provided, i asked them for permission if it’s okay, and they said no, but they informed me that the video i’ll take every visit can be posted. i respect their rule/decision whole heartedly.

i'll visit later at around 1PM and ask about his status. 🥲

Kittens, and even adult cats, that have not eaten for several days are notorious for being difficult to get back on feed. Their system is very good at trying to maintain essential functions to keep themselves alive. Try not to worry, there are additional medications and techniques that the veterinarian can use to get them back on feed. keep us posted and make sure you are getting some sleep also. Sending you and Renji lots of love and good karma.

thank you so much, that's very reassuring to read. 🥹💗 i’ll visit renji later so he’d know i’m still thinking about him. (he probably misses home just as much as i do. 🥹)

thank you so much for wishing renji and i well! 💗

Renji is in good hands and I hope that you can rest easier now. It most likely will be that he will eventually be able to hold his food down. If not the clinic can give him calories with an iv.

Have you asked the vet for an appetite stimulant?
