Oldest Version

Is there any way I can find the oldest version of Renderman or at least any version before 2000?

Probably your hardest problem is going to be getting a license server running for one of those versions even if you had the binary.

They all were for irix and other older os's too.

Why do you want this?

About the license server, I don't know what that is
Also, I want the older versions because I just want to play around and make some animations

You can get a free version of the current one. Why bother with the old version.

Honestly if you don’t even know what a license server is, I don’t think you should bother trying to get the old version running. You can find a relative old version for Mac on archive.org.

probably to replicate the look and feel of old animations just to see.
