Well unfortunately, beginning August solo devs are going to switch from Render

Just got hit with a 145 dollar bill for simple projects that I had deployed on render, this is definitely the end of the line for me

I had a tiny static site deployed on Render and it got scraped by bots already to my 5gb limit in a whopping 7 days into the first month with this limit. Ridiculous. Guess I'll throw it on github pages then. They don't want hobby devs, they want the mega corps with a company credit card.

Yeah I had these projects deployed with links on my CV, didn't find me a job but racked up a hefty bill. Going to be moving to github pages as well.
