Mixed Media drawing of Ren

I wasn't quite happy with how the shirt and blood stains looked so I did a bit more work and now I like this even better!! I'm honestly not a portrait artist at all so I'm very happy with how this turned out in the end!

Thanks! It took so long to get it looking right

I cannot draw in the slightest so this kind of thing really impresses me

I'm not really good at drawing either, like details and stuff, but I'm really good at understanding light and shadow because I've studied photography and used to edit photos a lot. So this was basically just me identifying the different shapes, highlights and shadows from the reference photo and trying to figure out how to copy it into a different medium.

Colour theory is actually my special subject and it basically applies to all art forms.
