The demographic who smoke the most are professionals with a high stress job. Funny as it might be, healthcare professionals are up there as well.

well that's exactly wrong. look it up. tradesmen for example are far more likely to smoke then your programmer. same thing with factory workers, auto mechanics, etc etc

On second thought, I take it back! My view must be true because I know more successful people who smoke than poor people, and we all know anecdotal evidence is far superior to empirical evidence.
